Los Cabos está en el sur de Baja California Sur, en México. Es un lugar especial porque el desierto está junto al mar. Aquí hay montañas, cactus, playas y agua azul. Los días normalmente son soleados y hace calor durante parte del año.

El centro tiene mucha actividad durante el día y también por la noche.
Cabo San Lucas has a large marina, many boats, and the famous Arch. The Arch is a rock formation in the sea. Many people take a boat to see it and swim near the beach or look for fish and whales. On the streets of Cabo San Lucas, there are restaurants, stores, hotels, and tourists from many countries. Downtown is very active during the day and also at night.
San José del Cabo es más tranquilo. Tiene una plaza, una iglesia y calles con galerías de arte. Por las tardes, las familias caminan por el centro, comen un helado o se sientan en la plaza. También hay pequeños restaurantes, tiendas y mercados con productos locales.
San José del Cabo is quieter. It has a main square, a church, and streets with art galleries. In the afternoons, families walk through downtown, eat ice cream, or sit in the square. There are also small restaurants, stores, and markets with local products.
Entre las dos ciudades está el corredor turístico. Es una carretera larga con playas, hoteles y campos de golf. Muchas personas viven en una ciudad y trabajan en otra, por eso viajan por esta carretera todos los días.
Between the two cities is the Tourist Corridor. It is a long highway with beaches, hotels, and golf courses. Many people live in one city and work in the other, so they travel on this highway every day.
La vida en Los Cabos no es solamente hoteles y vacaciones. Aquí hay escuelas, colonias, supermercados, hospitales y muchos lugares de trabajo. Hay personas de diferentes estados de México y también de otros países.
Life in Los Cabos is not just hotels and vacations. Here there are schools, neighborhoods, supermarkets, hospitals, and many workplaces. There are people from different states in Mexico and also from other countries.
Los Cabos cambia mucho y crece rápido. Cada año llegan nuevas familias y aparecen nuevos edificios. Sin embargo, el lugar todavía conserva el mar azul, las montañas, los cactus y la vida del desierto. Para miles de personas, Los Cabos no es un destino turístico. Es su casa.
Los Cabos is changing a lot and growing quickly. Every year, new families arrive and new buildings appear. However, the area still preserves its blue sea, mountains, cacti, and desert life. For thousands of people, Los Cabos is not a tourist destination. It is their home.
